Stilwell installs lights on
the fence posts and plays their first season of night games. The only
day game is the annual Thanksgiving Day game. SHS' First night affair
resulted in a 25-0 loss to Wagoner. The rest of the teams have also
installed lights except for Haskell. The Indians beat the Haymakers
twice but fail to score a point in the eight other night games.
******************************************
The 11/16 game at home against Sequoyah was
attended by fewer than 50 fans, a school record for lowest attendance. I
suspect very heavy rain, as is common to this area in November, coupled
with the night time start as the culprit, but I have no proof of this.
*****************************************
Stilwell goes winless at home for the first time
in school history.
*****************************************
The forfeit to Muskogee Central is the only
acknowledged forfeit in Stilwell football history |
