9/12 - Ronald Worley becomes the first player in SHS history to score a 2-Point Conversion. This was the first year the rule was in place.

9/19 - FANTASTIC FINISH -
Trailing Wagoner 8-6 with 1:13 left to play and backed up at their own 8 yard line Ronald Worley hits Bill Scott with a 20 yard pass, Scott laterals to Tommy Pruitt who covers the final 72 yards for the go ahead touchdown. The Hook-and-Lateral gives Stilwell a 12-8 lead.
Wagoner's next play from scrimmage is a pass intercepted by Worley. Dennis Springwater scores on a five yard run the very next play to seal a 18-8 SHS win.
