9/9 - Sean Catron catches a school record 93 yard touchdown pass from Lance Goodwin. The play was actually a bust with Goodwin fumbling the ball twice in the end zone but recovering to find Catron wide open.

10/7 - My cousin Robert Simmons was one of the stars of the Bulldogs. The funny thing was we didn't even know we were related until a year later. Now he is a great friend.

10/17 - Monday - Stilwell opens the Daily Oklahoman to find themselves as the number one ranked team in Class 3A for the first time in school history. Stilwell doesn't go on to win the championship but finishes the season at #1

11/4 - Stilwell bashes Hilldale to complete the schools first 10-0 regular season in modern history.

10/28 - Joey Ketcher returns a punt for a touchdown with 2:28 left in the game to clinch the District 3A-7 Championship. Stilwell led at halftime 20-0 but Checotah came storming back to put a major scare into the #1 ranked Indians

11/25 - On the day after Thanksgiving the #1 ranked Indians and #2 ranked Savages battle in the state quarter-finals. The game is played in a torrential downpour and several severe thunderstorms which included large hail, cloud to ground lightning and at least two tornado warnings just blocks from the stadium. The conditions completely neutralize the Indians potent Option-I offense. Under today's rules for safety the game would have been rescheduled for a later date
